Authorities Looking for Woman Who Went Missing in Altadena in September

Authorities continued their search Sunday to find a woman who suffers from schizophrenia and went missing in Altadena in September.

Marilyn Martinez, 20, was last seen Sept. 28, 2019 at about 5 p.m. in the 400 block of Figueroa Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Martinez is Hispanic, 4-feet-9 inches tall, weighs about 110 pounds, and has black hair and eyes. She has star tattoos on the right side of her neck and the left side of her abdomen.

“Ms. Martinez suffers from schizophrenia and her family is concerned for her well-being,” said Deputy Maria Lucero.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was urged to call 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
