A large tree fell amidst gusty winds in Burbank Wednesday, striking at least two parked vehicles.
The tree fell about 4 p.m. in the 300 block of North Niagara Street, between Oak Street and Verdugo Avenue, according to the Burbank Police Department.
Officers are investigating the exact cause of the tree falling, but they assume that the high winds played a role, Burbank Police Department Sgt. Derek Green said.
No one was injured, but the tree crashed into at least two parked cars, according to Green.
Niagara Street will be closed overnight between Oak Street and Verdugo Avenue as crews clear the tree.
